(Systèmes d'Informations Scientifiques pour la Mer) is a service
of IFREMER for the National Scientific Community, located in NANTES and
BREST. According to its missions, it designs and operates scientific information
systems and databases in the marine domain. The activity involves the management
of the oceanographic data collected during the French sea cruises and specific
information systems for the living resources and the environment monitoring.
