The UNIGIS programme is jointly provided by a partnership of the University
of Huddersfield, the Manchester Metropolitan University and Salford University.
The success of the programme has attracted international attention and
five other institutions (University
of Pretoria, Free University of Amsterdam, University of Salzburg,
the Technical University Bucharest, Romania and the University of Forestry,
Hungary) presently offer their versions of the UNIGIS programme. Simon
Fraser University (Canada) is currently pursuing approval of their
UNIGIS program, starting in September 1997.
